Opened in September 2022

Set in Verona, Italy it was a scene of pure Italian goodness that my now wife Sarah and I accidentally came across on a missed turn on the autostrada heading to the mountain town of Conco, my father’s home. Rummaging the stone lanes on foot we chanced upon Osteria Del Bugiardo. At lunch (pranzo) it was full of locals and the like paying homage to the local food and wines.

The vibe was infectious. Fine prosciutto and grissini, spuntini and beautiful local wines and the bar spruiking orders on a theatre of good times. It was as if you could hear the truths of today and the lies of tomorrow playing out in this socially charming old site, Bugiardo.
